Periodontist, DMD, MSDr. Kenneth Tang is a periodontist and implant specialist who earned degrees from VCU, Johns Hopkins, and Temple University (Chief Resident). A Fellow of the Misch Implant Institute, Dr. Tang specializes in bone regeneration, soft-tissue grafting, and CBCT-guided implant care—focusing on preserving natural teeth and personalized treatment.

Registered Dental HygienistSherri has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 30 years, joining the Nelson Dental Practice in 2005. In 1988 she earned her Associates of Dental Hygiene degree from Prairie State College, in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Her thorough, yet gentle manner is appreciated by her patients. Helping her patients achieve their best dental health is her goal. She enjoys the family oriented culture of the practice and feels privileged to have had the opportunity to develop long term professional relationships with many of her loyal patients. She and her husband, Mitch, keep busy with their blended family of 7 children, a grandson and a granddaughter on the way.

Registered Dental HygienistAnna was born and raised in Northern Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Lansing Community College in 2008. She has been with the Nelson Dental Practice since 2009. Anna enjoys the personal experience she gives to each patient, helping to improve and maintain their oral health. In her spare time, she is a busy mom, enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Mariah
Dental AssistantMariah moved to Manassas from West Virginia in 2018. She has several years of dental assisting experience. Mariah enjoys working in the dental field and it shows in her interactions with our patients.
Patricia
Dental AssistantPatricia joined our practice in 2019. Her background is in nursing, where she previously worked at a kidney clinic as a medical assistant. She is a long term resident of the area and has been a patient of the practice dating back to early childhood. Patricia is fluent in Spanish and English.

Insurance & Billing CoordinatorMary has been with the Nelson Dental Practice since 2005. As the Office Manager, she is an expert on all the non-clinical operations of the office.
Johanna
Insurance & Billing CoordinatorJohanna joined the practice in 2018. Her front office skills are critical in assuring that our practice flows well on a daily basis. Johanna is fluent in Spanish and English.
